Day three hundred and nine

Breakfast: Oatmeal with chunks of apple.  I was SO thrilled to find that gluten-free oats exist... not sure I could live without oats!

A man's dinner (aka, my husband made it): Rotisserie chicken, green beans, apple, and tater tots (gluten-free from Trader Joe's).

Day Two hundred and six

Breakfast: Oatmeal with chunks of apple, and blue agave. Halfway through her bowl, my little one decided she didn't like apples, so I pureed her apple chunks in the food processor and mixed it back into her oatmeal. Voila.

Sloppy joes (with pureed green veggies and cauliflower) on whole grain sandwich thins, with steamed carrots, and fruit salad.  Here's the recipe.

Day One hundred and thirty-three

Snow day project: Cotton ball snowmen and gingerbread men (Recipe: Kid Concoctions. We didn't eat these, but the dough did need to be cooked on the stove, so it's fair that they get to share the spotlight w/our other food of the day.

Breakfast: Oatmeal with strawberries and blueberries (frozen), drizzled with a little maple syrup and cinnamon.

Dinner: Alien green ravioli (homemade ravioli with edamame and light cream filling; Recipe: Rachel Ray) with broccoli, and bananas.

Day Ninety

Breakfast: Oatmeal with maple syrup, brown sugar, and diced apples. Unfortunately... I had my camera right on the table but forgot to take a picture until we finished eating. Oops.

Lunch: Pizza. I'm reading "Eat Pray Love," and after the author's description of the best pizza in Italy, I had to have some, too. Usually I make the dough in the bread machine, but today I did it by hand. Surprisingly, it was much more pliable.

Day Seventy

Baking: Braided mozzarella cheese bread. My girls helped make the dough and knead this, and we had a blast doing so. (Recipe: Frugal girl, although she uses cheddar. Mozzarella went better with our dinner).
Breakfast: Blueberry maple oatmeal

Dinner: Vegetable minestrone soup. Recipe: Make it Fast, Cook it Slow. I loved how this looked in the crockpot before it was cooked.

Dinner: Vegetable minestrone soup with parmesan cheese and whole-grain noodles

Dinner sides: cheese bread, and frozen strawberries

Day Thirty-four

Dessert (I'm putting this first, b/c it's my favorite): Creme brule (crockpot; recipe: Make it Fast, Cook it Slow). This was SO easy and SO delicious. This woman who wrote this crockpot cookbook is a genius!!

Breakfast: Oatmeal with diced apples and cinnamon.

Dinner: Cheesy rice, bean, and zucchini burritos (whole grain wraps, jasmine rice, red and white kidney beans, shredded low-fat cheddar, and shredded zucchini. I intended to use black beans, but oddly we didn't have any), and watermelon.

Day Thirty

Breakfast: Blueberry oatmeal with a hint of maple syrup.

Dinner: London broil stew. I supplied the recipe to my husband, but don't eat meat, so my dinner was leftover chicken stroganoff from the other night.

The full dinner: The beef stew, asparagus, potatoes, carrots, onions, a ciabatta roll, and honeydew.
