Day Two hundred and eighty-three

Dinner: Leftovers of last night's chicken tetrazzini, along with a salad.   Our cucumbers have been coming up rapidly from the garden, so we'll use any excuse for a salad.  :)

Day Two hundred and fifty-three

Dinner: Yesterday's BBQ has left us with two nights of leftovers. Woo hoo!

Day Two hundred and eighteen

A night of "Man cooking," which always means BBQ. Marinated chicken, red peppers, and grape tomatoes skewered on the grill.

Dinner: BBQed chicken, red peppers, and grape tomatoes, potatoes au gratin (leftover from Mother's Day), and steamed veggies.

Day Two hundred and sixteen

Dinner: Leftovers from Mother's Day. I was singing an "I love leftovers!" song all through dinner.

Day One hundred and ninety-five

The incredible tower of waffles. These are whole grain pumpkin waffles, and there were 21 to be exact. Four of them are missing from this photo, as we'd already eaten breakfast when I took it. These waffles have been divided into four packages that are now sitting in my freezer, and will allow my waffle iron to hibernate for quite a while.

Breakfast: Waffles, scrambled cheese eggs (with extra egg whites), and cantaloupe.

Dinner: Leftover medley from the weekend.

Day One hundred and eighty-six

Breakfast: Pumpkin maple oatmeal. I had some leftover pureed pumpkin from something I'd made last week (what was it?!?) and it seemed perfect for a chilly morning's breakfast.

Dinner: Leftover medley-- we had enough leftover baked ziti, oriental express, and chinese food to make another meal. Thank you!!

Day One hundred and fifty

A repurposed dinner: Chicken orzo vegetable soup (chicken was leftover from yesterday's rotisserie chicken, orzo was leftover from dinner from a few night's ago, and soup was from yesterday's lunch). Perfect way to use up a mish-mosh of leftovers.

Day One hundred and thirty-four

Birthday dessert: Chocolate "donuts." These are one of our favorite desserts, for a few reasons. They taste amazing, but even better, they don't wreck your day. These are the Sneaky Chef's famous "brownie/cupcakes" with pureed spinach and blueberries in them, and they are 100% also whole grain. I'll including a link to the recipe here, as it is worth making!!
Dinner: We ate at my parents before going down to the city for a project of my husband's, so no pics here.

Day One hundred and thirty

Breakfast: Whole wheat carrot apple muffins (recipe: Annabel Karmel), with fresh cantaloupe. My little daughter made these with me, she loves feeding carrots and apples into the food processor to be shredded. They were SO good!
Dinner: Leftovers- ended up using that turkey tetrazzini from the other night sooner than planned!

Day One hundred and ten

Breakfast pizza (Recipe: Doubly Delicious). This came out really well, almost like a fast quiche. I added fresh spinach to it, which was a nice health bonus in addition to the pureed cauliflower and zucchini that was mixed into the eggs and milk.

Breakfast: Breakfast pizza and honeydew. My kids were so happy to see fresh fruit!
Dinner: Leftovers

Day One hundred and eight

Breakfast: Blueberry-pineapple-banana smoothies (with homemade yogurt), along with the omelet muffins from yesterday.

Dinner: Leftovers.

Day Seventy-eight

Breakfast: Whole grain blueberry pancakes (recipe: Annabel Karmel)
Dinner was leftover quesadillas, so my kitchen stayed clean! :)

Day Seventy-two

Mashed potatoes. This was for my daughter's school Thanksgiving feast. The recipe made such a large bowl that I kept some extra at home for dinner. (Score!)

Dinner: Leftover mish-mosh. Spaghetti from the other night, mashed potatoes from earlier, turkey hot dogs, and steamed broccoli.

Blueberry sorbet (recipe: Sneaky Chef). This really counts as fruit, as it is blueberries, cranberry pomegranate juice, and a splash of honey, pureed in the food processor. I love that my kids call it "dessert," though.

Day Fifty-five

Dinner: Leftovers, glorious leftovers... a buffet of bits of what we had during the week. I love no-cook Fridays!!
