Day One hundred and seventy-eight

Dinner: Breakfast for dinner. Pumpkin whole grain waffles (these were leftover from the big batch I made over the weekend; I froze two sets of them for future use), egg/egg white spinach and cheese omelets, cut-up apples and pears.
My daughter's plate... she was proud of how she arranged her waffles. :)

Day One hundred and sixty-two

I didn't actually cook this, but, as I was taking pictures of the pureed broccoli, my daughter wanted in on the action. She displayed a Laughing Cow cheese, and her hand was too cute to resist.

Purees for the freezer: Broccoli. My parents had a big bag of fresh broccoli that was a little past its prime but still usable, and this was the best thing I could think of for it. It was either this, or soup, and this seemed more useful.

Dinner: Rotisserie chicken, wild rice, fresh broccoli, and pears. My MIL brought over dinner, and I promised she'd be featured here. ;)

Day Twenty-eight

Dinner: Chicken Stroganoff over egg noodles (crockpot), kale, and sliced pears. Kale was made by my mom, as we were at her house, and I only brought my crockpot. :)

Day Eleven

Whole wheat rolls. I'll forever be indebted to my friend Sarah H. for this recipe. The dough is a bread machine recipe; very easy.

Dinner: Pulled Chicken (crockpot) in a homemade BBQ sauce (Sneaky Chef- pureed sweet potato), whole wheat rolls, steamed broccoli, and sliced pears.
