Day One hundred and seventy-five

Breakfast: Oat bran blueberry applesauce muffins (recipe: Hodgson Mill) and fruit salad. My husband put some chocolate chips on the top of his, but they were really good even w/o the chocolate.
Dinner: We ate dinner at our friend's house, and brought this over: Fresh steamed broccoli and baby carrots, with a buttermilk-ranch dip (with pureed white beans; recipe: Deceptively Delicious).

Day One hundred and thirty-seven

Breakfast: Pink pancakes (whole grains, beet puree, shredded apple, and strawberries; Recipe: Deceptively Delicious).

Pink pancakes with a drizzle of chocolate or maple syrup. Normally we would have a protein with pancakes such as eggs, but these have ricotta in them so they were okay to stand alone. I let my kids use a drizzle of chocolate on these, they were so tickled to have "strawberries and chocolate" for breakfast, and didn't care that they also had pureed beets. Loved it.
Dinner: At my parents house, so no pics here.

Day Ninety-two

Chocolate peanut butter dip (with carrot puree; recipe: Deceptively Delicious) and sliced apples. My kids love this dip, but today it went with my husband, for a holiday party at work.

Dinner: Turkey meatball heroes (with pureed butternut squash mixed into the marina sauce), steamed broccoli, and clementines. Confession: I barely made any of this. The meatballs were ones I had made a while back and frozen, and the bread was picked up last-minute from Shoprite. I was at my daughter's school for the afternoon today, and my plan to put dinner in the crockpot before I left never happened. This came out well, though, so all was fine in the end.
